Chromophobia

What took me so long? Color. COLOR, my friends.
This wasn't going so well...I did it half in black and white and hit a mental block, and basically took that as a sign that it's just time to start practicing my colors. Admittedly, I don't really own that many colored pencils or markers...these are all the colors I had. And these markers I used...they were my grandmother's. They're probably older than me, and they're far from true to their color. But I love these colors, so in some ways I'm happy I had them. (how many times did I use the word "color" in this description? woooooooops)

This was inspired by a few things, done over the course of three days...lot's of stalling. I started in a jealous mood but that didn't last all that long -- it kind of reminded me of how I went to preschool with a girl named Jealousy. No joke. I don't know what happened to her....haven't seen her since. Blah blah blah, there's always a lot on my mind (obviously) and this is just what I do with it all. I'm sure many will see something familiar in it, fo' sho'~

My Christmas miracle.

Ballpoint, Micron, Pentel fine tips, probably some crayolas....I really pulled out everything on this one.....11"x14".
