Kalpita (WIP?)

Urghhh, I almost want to say I hate this piece but I won't. I can't hate it for not being done.

I'm finished with it for now but I might do something unusual later on and come back to it. Also, is there any way to make my camera suck less? It seems to take really pixelated photos and doesn't seem to focus right.

Anyway, I saw this name while I was drawing and took it as a sign. I think I'm doing a little too much experimentation right now...out of my comfort zone. I never draw from the center of the page because it throws me off when I try to put in a background. I also occasionally run into trouble when I draw on a horizontal page as opposed to the usual.


Done with utensil scrapings...6 dry, 10+ year old Pentel fine tip markers that are all pretty stale, colored pencil stubs I found lying around the house, the saddest Micron pen alive, a Signo pen for some of the outlining, etc. 11"x14" No references. Maybe when I break down and buy markers I'll throw in a background.:\ Until then....this just isn't my thing.
